so... four and a half days later... Hoover yarples the undies... crazy dog!

and so the story continues

Jeff is all messed up about that play station deal. He went and worked out with a buddy last night and all he could talk about was the awesome deal Fred got on the system and all the games. His buddy wondered if Fred really got that great deal... but the amazing part was how obsessed Jeff was over getting more than 60 games... has to get up to 61 and fast! Another shocker was the huge fight that Jeff and his wife got into about the games while at the gym working out. Jeff was begging her to let him buy a bunch of games this weekend but she wasn't going for it. He did go out and buy a game today... so I guess he is already starting the climb to 61. How old is Jeff? Old enough to not be fighting with his wife over video games... insanity!

And another interesting fact about Jeff's story is his wife doesn't know how much he makes so that he can have his paycheck direct deposited into both accounts and she is none the wiser... can we say he's keeping his options open on sticking!?!

Keeping up with the Jones'

Why is it that some people feel like they have to one up others no matter what. Say for example you know a Jones that got a new 50" tv... wow, awesome, right? But the Smith's can't be happy for them... Smith has to go out and get a 52". Why?

So how about this... Jeff has been bragging about having 50 video games for his play station 3... 50 games... wow... pretty awesome! I personally think it's silly especially for an adult that could put the money from the games to pay bills, but we all have our hobbies and likes. Let's run a lil test here. Fred decides to tell Jeff he found an awesome deal for a play station 3 with 60 games so he bought it... now that's a great find. Jeff can't believe it and immediately wants to find an awesome deal too. He heads out of the office and not even 5 minutes later he calls Fred to find out where he found the deal... ebay of course. So Jeff plans to look into it when he returns to the office. But the crazy thing is that he called while he was up at the game shop to see what they have. So now Jeff is on a mission to purchase more games so that he isn't out done. He's obsessed. During this lil test we also find that Jeff has a secret bank account from his wife. A secret account... now that's trust... and then to use the secret account to buy video games... now that's just hilarious! What a loser this Jeff can be.

Why do dogs do what they do?

So... why do dogs do what they do? Why do they turn three turns before laying down? Why do they cock their heads when you talk to them? Why do they eat random things?

My dog has a thing about eating grass... yet it's not like he has a belly ache or is missing on some nutrients... he just thinks he's a horse. He'll go out and munch on a few tall blades of grass here and there while he's out... dogs are silly.

My dog has nothing on a friend's dog... now this dog should have been named Hoover. Can you guess why? The thing about it is he doesn't eat just anything... he eats only undies (clean ones)... what? My friend was telling me the story of his latest snack. She was taking the laundry out of the washer and into the dryer when she dropped a pair of undies and before she could react Hoover was out the door with his snack. He isn't like dogs that will chew on your socks or item till it's all in pieces... he devours it immediately. By the time she got a hold of him the prize was gone. So far she's had to retrieve two pairs from his throat... she was able to grab just a piece of the material and pull them back out. A few have been swallowed only to be found a couple days later... and now she will play the waiting game for this latest snack to return. Why does Hoover do this? He eats it and then for the next two to three days he really can't eat anything or much of anything till he throws it up and can go back to eating his dog food... till the next time he gets that quick chance at a snack. Dogs are funny!

Oompa Loompa

On this Saturday night at 1130p I am listening to the Oompa Loompa's sing their lil song...

Not what I had planned to do after a night at the movies already. We saw 500 Days of Summer. It was great... rather amazing or should we say random for it to be showing here in this town... not a show for the norm. Why is it only the ho hum of shows make it to all neck of the woods? It was rather sorry to see that such a good movie would only have less than 10 attendees for the 730p showing... the first day of showing for our town. It is what I expected tho. Heck we thought of seeing The Goods or Time Travelers Wife... three completely different movies to take us down three completely different escapes. Movies offer us that lil bit of time that we can escape into the world the movie portrays. So... in turn I escaped into the 500 days of Summer and what an enlightening, interesting, entertaining, joyful, compassionate, funny, sorrowful, realistic, etc. hour plus I had. I will not go into the exacts of the movie so as not to ruin it for others, but it was truly enjoyable and one to see. If not in the theaters at least enjoy it at some point... puts life in perspective. Too many live in a fantasy... life is what you make it so make it the best you can but realize that not all moments will be joyful but make every random moment one you can learn from.

In the beginning...

So... where to begin... everything that happens is random in some sense of the word. Daily Randomisms will give you just random thoughts and happenings to keep you guessing.

What happens daily with everyone is so different... so why not share some of the random happenings and doings of your life. That is my plan... to share my random happenings... and to see what others have randomly happening in their lives.
